Lamisil is an anti-fungal antibiotic which used to treat tinea
versicolor, a fungal infection that produces brown, tan, white spots on
the trunk of the body or other fungal infections such as athlete's foot,
jock itch, and ringworm. Lamisil works by killing sensitive fungi by
interfering with the formation of the fungal cell membrane.
Dosage and direction
Take it orally with full glass of water. Swallow it without chewing. Usually it taken for 6 to 12 weeks.
The recommended dose is various from type of infection:
1. For onychomycosis:
Adults and teenagers 250 mg once a day for 6 to 12 weeks.

2. For tinea corporis:
Adults and teenagers 250 mg once a day for 2 to 4 weeks.

3. For tinea cruris (ringworm of the groin; jock itch):
